Walnut Tree Cottage is a non-smoking cottage.

 

•  A 25% Deposit is required when Booking your holiday, which is non-refundable.  Please make cheques payable to ‘Elaine Wictome'.

Your Booking will be held for 1 week and confirmed upon receipt of your Deposit.  

 

•  The Balance of payment is due 4 weeks before your arrival date.  At the same time as this is paid we also ask for a seperate cheque of £50.00 as a Good Housekeeping Bond. This cheque will then be destroyed after the end of your holiday should the property be left on time and in the clean, tidy and undamaged condition that it was found.   Part or all of the Good Housekeeping Bond will be retained to pay for the relevant repairs if necessary.

 

•  The Cottage will be available to you from 3.00 pm on the day of your arrival.

 

•  On the day of your Departure please vacate the Cottage by 10.00 am.

 

•  If you Cancel your booking after the final Balance of payment has been made then the following scale of refund will be used:

                 Days before start of holiday          Amount payable

                 15 - 31 days                                    25% of Holiday cost

                 0 - 14 days                                      Nil

If we can re-book the cottage for the time that you have cancelled then we will return your money (less the non-returnable deposit and a £20.00 administration charge).  In case you have to cancel your holiday we recommend that you take out your own holiday insurance.

 

•  Short Breaks can be booked within 4 weeks of the holiday start date in the Off-Peak Season (excluding Christmas, New Year, Easter and Half-Terms).  Please check for availability during the Peak season (April until October).

 

• If you are bringing pets with you they must not be left unattended in the cottage at any time, nor should they be allowed into the bedroom area - in consdieration for future guests.

 

•  Walnut Tree Cottage is a STRICTLY NON-SMOKING COTTAGE . Smoking is permitted outside the cottage door (utilising an ashtray) only but not at all inside.

.  Bedding and bed linen (Duck down duvet, duvet cover, sheets, pillow cases, feather or anti- allergy pillows), towels (2 Bath Sheets, 2 Hand towels and bath mats) and tea towels are included in your rental price.

•  Heating, electricity, gas and central heating oil are included in the price of your holiday but we would ask you to please be considerate in the use of these items by turning off lights and turning down the central heating temperature when you do not need it on – for example when you go out for the day. The cottage is very cosy and warm generally and takes no time at all to heat up again when you come in!
